I see one of the updates is going to add the Fw-190-D.

Since the update is going to have to be applied to our AKA server's before we can fly multiplayer in them. Is it possible that Scorp can add the Dora to the German side in our expert server?

It looks like Coconut is getting out of BoX.  From what he has said he will be shutting his servers down soon and will no longer be supporting his campaign software.  He brought out a new version around March 11 and I thought that would be it from him but then he released another version on March 16.  I'll wait and see if he is going to bring out anything following this BoX update, if not I'll look at adding the new AC myself and maybe making some other tweaks.

Coconut writes in F# a language I'm not that familiar with but in some ways is similar to the Visual programming I have done.   So even if Coconut has thrown in the towel all is not lost.

Bummer about coconuts - glad you see hope Scorp :).  Obviously without updates to the coconut framework, at some point the BoX updates will likely break the coconut campaign framework, I’m assuming.  Thus our campaigns would be broken as well.

There was another small update this morning.
:(
Wish they would do this less often. Servers are back up and up-to-date, provided they don't come out with another update later today.

When doing the plane selection for the campaign, please also consider what time frame is being represented, such that not only can the plane types be selected, but also the relative availability of them (e.g. if it's a "new" aircraft just getting into service, it should have limited numbers available, such that not everyone can fly that type all the time, in seemingly unlimited numbers ;) ).

I was thinking we could break it up into 3-4 successive campaigns,do 1941,then progress to 1942,etc.. moving the plane set and maps with each successive year, not strickly eastern front historical but a mix of both Western Front and Eastern Front.

i have not played online with you guys in this game. honestly soviets did not win on the caliber of planes and pilots but because of the sheer numbers. can that be worked into the campaign? i cant imagine trying to beat the German side with the same amount of aircraft.

Yeah, that’s the struggle in TAW flying RED, the German side generally has higher numbers most of the time, except in the late evenings US time.

But here we’re talking about human vs AI, so it’s not as bad - come join the party! :)

Nicely done Scorp!
Thanks.
We will review plane sets in the next week or two for the campaign and pass them along.

Cheers
