General Discussion / Gunsight Problem
« on: September 02, 2019, 06:16:48 pm »
:D Using the BF110, the gun sight all ways appears to me as the pilot: to be too high. That is , I can only see the bottom of the gunsight. So far I have been unable to get the proper gunsight view? Only problem is with the BF-110???? What the hell?

 >:D I couldn't get on the AKA servers tonight . Undermanned at Dos's house? Tai? Agile? Anyone?

 >:D Having completed the third ? Mission now, some things are looking strange. Score keeping seems wrong , at least for the Blue side. Blue got credit for about 4 kills and Hangten and I lost more airplanes than that just trying to defend our home base. We were out of P-38's well before the end of the mission last night?

 >:D As I understand it: 1946, Pacific, New Georgia, will start Tuesday night, 28.May. Will we have a practice mission on the server? I assume time will be 1730 western time?

 >:D Are we going to update the Scenario(Server) on Cliffs of Dover that our Squadron has been using, or, do we use a new scenario for our Cliffs Squadron  fly days? It appears that the MODEL number has been updated for our Game? Anyone select a new compatible Server?

 >:(Could be Hitler's fault). He would always inspect new WAR WEAPONS. When he was shown the 30 mm Mk 180 cannon ,he ordered it installed on all suitable Luftwaffe aircraft. One year later, when he found it had not been installed,  he had the General he felt was responsible, shot. Also matching "part" production schedules to airplane delivery schedules is tricky, and some guns fit some airplanes and some don't. Possible your missing links were never paired up as "most suitable".

General Discussion / AKA Officer's Metal of Honor
« on: November 21, 2018, 12:27:26 pm »
C:-)Let it be known that on this day, Jim Herring (Gos) has been awarded The "AKA Officer's Honorary Metal" for necessary assistance to AKA_Wayno's continued participation in AKA'S Numerous World Wide War activities. Be it known that on Tuesday November 20,2018 , Gos drove 1 hour by car to Wayno's home in Anacortes Washington where he arrived at 1000 . As planned, he then attacked and disasembled Wayno's "Flight Den" on the first Floor and hand carried it ,one piece at a time, to the fifth floor over a total of 24 vertical steps to the newly created SKY HIGH Flight Center Five. JIm made many disconnections, hauls, hoists and re-connections this day to complete this task, including: Computer, 27" monitor, printer, Flight components: stick, throttle, rudder petals, 2 file cabinets, 2 desks, ejection seat, seventy five pound tempered glass flooring for ejection seat, necessary audio components, and all associated accessories. He then reassembled all components and flight tested the system successfully. He did not get the Lunch (I'm sure he expected), at 1300 because it was nessessary for Wayno's  Doctor's appointment from1300 to 1430, during which time Jim kept himself successfully occupied until Wayno's return. Jim then completed the equipment transfer, assembly and successful test operations until dark at 1730. He had told his wife he would be home at 1700. At 1730 ,he called his wife and said he would be home about 1900. She laughed and jovially said don't worry his dinner would be ready for him when he got home. After another 1 hour drive in the dark, he arrived at home about 1830 after a very long day constructing The Sky High Combat Flight Center to support a friends need late in his war with life!
HooRah Jim!!! (Lunch will be forthcoming Soon!)

Rel, I have been unable to get the practice server to load. Get "Loading error". Loaded to 85% one time. 3 other attempts were much less than 85%>
