what happened to the list serv off unix? we used to run free listservs... people would send in a blank email with the word subscribe, and they could pick on options which subscription to choose, daily, weekly monthly.. and it really was the best form of subscription,, the website server that our quad has through Godaddy had the ability to run newsletters, and subscriptions, perhaps you would like to set that up?

you can use these too:

might I suggest using Facebook with a closed list... so only aka members and any others can have access to the facebook page set up for AKA Wardogs events, campaigns, etc... that was you only put there whatever you want a specific group of people to see and communicate back and forth... that way no one has to set up any server list... only copy , paste, type into that Facebook page, and anyone that has access can read briefings, notes, discussions..

I have it installed, haven't done much yet. I updated a practice map with the changes in aircraft, they added some, removed others...

well, first , Thank you for the Heads up!

they are having problems, links no longer work to download stuff.

but I see that the original il-2 with 4.12 patch still has an update, no sure when,, found a link to do that to bring the stock version to:

50mb size. direct link download

Guess we can update our own non squad versions once they sort it all out on the HSFX patch website..

also, btw, I have the remains of a canal on the property that was originally for a huge water wheel to run a power plant and mill (across the road, is a historic site with an old train car and the old mill), back when the town was found over 100 years ago.. the canal is suppose to be kept clean and clear,.. it also acts as a safety in case the river overflows it goes into the canal..

the people here told me trout and bass, also that the locals gather at the release point to catch the fish before they can move down the river.. I looked on the river bank and didn't see any fish... as it is very clear, but fast moving in the middle and tiny rapids over some rocky areas.. I just haven't had the time yet to do much... the insurance company has told us we have to put railing on the porch because it is over 18" above ground level. That money wasn't in our budget and the work is killing me... but I bought the materials at Home Depot and will just put in a quickie porch rail so they will be satisfied.

Thomas Creek photos

the sound of the rushing water can be heard loudly from the front of our home,, the creek (river, a few hundred feet walk through a small forested area).
click link to photos

Scio, Oregon

goddam insurance company is making put a porch rail up because our front porch is 21 inches above the ground level, which is more than some rule about anything more than 18" higher need rail. There are no other requirements for the porch rail. We had to go buy the stuff last night... pisses me off,, it's really no ones business.. IMHO
Also some other B.S... the moron lady who came to look at the house came 1 week before we got here, even though she could not find the house and refuse to wait one week for us. The insurance company lied and told us they were going to come about 3 weeks 'after' we moved in'' the realtor had some people do some work on the house before we got here so it would meet VA requirements. Damned commies!
