odd issue. without very much information try this

Go to Settings > Update and Security, click in Windows Defender on left tab and then click in Open Windows Defender Security Center

In new window, click in Protection from Virus and Threats > Virus and Threats Settings and TURN OFF Access to Controlled Folders.

Find OneDrive in the task bar and open it > Settings > Autosave > select "This PC only" from the dropdown menus.

Technical Help / Re: TV vs Monitor

blasto has a good point i had forgotten. when you stay at 1080 on a large screen your image will be bigger. meaning the plane you are spotting on a 24" running at 1920x1080 will be smaller than on a 32" running 1920x1080. almost 33% larger. but its pixel density is lower. so in theory less crisp.

another good article

there is a lot more to the difference that need to be considered. otherwise we would just all buy TVs right? i am not going to rehash these suggestions and let someone with internet presence to explain. after all there is only truth on the internet. technology has a patina of truth  O0

i have been in IT since pretty much ground zero and have seen a lot of changes. like i had said the difference between the two types has narrowed since 1987 when i started. i am only preaching caution. especially with gaming you will, IMHO, notice. and after all you are spending the money and have to deal with the choice.

I have had a 32 Samsung in bedroom for a while and picture is great. Keep in mind a TV and monitor are different though are nowadays closer to same specs. I personally believe a true monitor will perform better than a TV. Maybe I am old school. Check on refresh rates, etc.

though not online, i do have and play this mod occasionally. i agree cold war enthusiasts should add this. though, like Clutter said, another plane to try to master is quite difficult, especially for me, with limited time. heck i cannot even get online to play with the squad being they fly west coast time. my brain is well done by then.

If you don't have Persian Gulf, Normandy, or Nevada maps, they are 50% off which is a pretty good deal. Alas I have them.

General Discussion / tanker landing

Paris airshow this yeah. reminds me of my carrier landings.

agreed... i am sure they are gauging support on forums etc. ED seems really adept at the marking thing. pre-release sales, added features, modules. they had mentioned re-doing all the FC3 textures. i bet that is basis for FC4. its been pretty quiet for a while now.

so wife is out of town and i tried this mission. i could not even get anywhere close to the carrier because i kept getting rejected. i think my score is 2.  :)) i am trying some again today. i have been practicing this so much i can't remember the last time i dropped a bomb. i do some gun BFM to blow off steam after my constant failures.

for me i started off with 152 GB OB folder. Watching a bit of the update the Caucusus got terrain textures update. i also saw F86 got a texture update. the after update size of folder is still 152 GB. ha! like going around in a circle.

i got a pretty good DL speed at more than 79 MB/s at points during the torrent stage

yeah i liked Falcon series too. I still have the media and manual. and the price at the release +$16 is not important to me. i can wait. i have modules coming out of my pores. most of them i just fly and do some BFM.

you guys are a bad influence. O0 i am letting the dust settle a bit. i have a few months of EA clandestinely adding / removing features before i have to choose. quite honestly the $16 difference is not worth it to me to jump into the pool without first checking the depth. i will probably get it just to fly it.

Lol Silver. It's all repetition now. You need to join us, it's a blast.
That was with my VR.

i wish i could. you guys are on too late for me. i am east coast and arise at 430 for work each day. all my effort learning is videos of others and no first hand help. :(
