Non-dell system here and I run from either shortcuts placed in the tool bar or from the menu list.  I do NOT have a dell, mine is an Official Clutter System.  :-)

Is Merc running in Tablet mode?

If so move your mouse to the bottom right of the screen to the notifications icon.

Click on it and a window opens - look for an icon that says Tablet Mode - if it is blue click on it to turn tablet mode off.

Also with every new TAW campaign all the registration info is deleted.

That may do the trick.  I tried the other things before but it had both names associated with the axis side.

Also, let be clear, the all caps was meant for the TAW forum/thread, and nogir anyone here.

odd issue. without very much information try this

Go to Settings > Update and Security, click in Windows Defender on left tab and then click in Open Windows Defender Security Center

In new window, click in Protection from Virus and Threats > Virus and Threats Settings and TURN OFF Access to Controlled Folders.

Find OneDrive in the task bar and open it > Settings > Autosave > select "This PC only" from the dropdown menus.

Hey all. I sent Merc the files on a thumb drive and so far the game runs OK offline, but when he tries to access the server the game loads to 90% humans then hangs and will not connect fully.
Any ideas what causes this?

Also, Greywolf, Merc got the same computer system you have and he cannot save any shortcuts to his desktop. It has a system (Dell) that uses a menu of apps rather than shortcuts. Is there a way to disable that system so he can use shortcuts like on his old Windows system? He's running Win10 on the new Dell.
Thanks for any info.

Technical Help / Re: TV vs Monitor

blasto has a good point i had forgotten. when you stay at 1080 on a large screen your image will be bigger. meaning the plane you are spotting on a 24" running at 1920x1080 will be smaller than on a 32" running 1920x1080. almost 33% larger. but its pixel density is lower. so in theory less crisp.

another good article

Like others - after having numerous monitors and TV's  - I am using 32 in TV 1080p -refresh 120hz- motion rate. That said- you have to set the monitor to gaming- and it runs well w/o tearing on a Intel 7700 4.2 w. a 1080 8g card. Best air-air spotting- best quick zoom in - and seems to run reliably.
Its a given that gaming monitors are the best- but the high res seems to be no benefit when flying around seeing a whole lot of nothing until they're up close and dangerous.
I have a Dell 24 in gaming monitor running @ 2k w. a 144hz refresh. It is also imo inferior for Cliffs of Dover sim flying- and find again the $200 - $179 smart tv's a hell of a  value. That darn Dell was $600. ouch.
If you buy a 32in 120 motion rate at 1080p- if not happy- box it back up and drive back to Best Buy and say it didn't fit. Kind of true! Good Luck Agil- blast away.

I bought the F-5E and the F-16. Yippe,,, another profile to put together.
