windows 10 error with COD?
« on: January 27, 2017, 01:59:40 pm »
When I try to start COD, the usual launcher EXE does not work anymore since Win10 install. I found a work-around by using a file titled CloDer.dll instead. This launches the game, but it also gives a disarming error message informing as follows:

"Failed to inject the hook library into the remote process.
Library: "D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover_Mod\CloDer.dll".
Process: "D:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover_Mod\Launcher.exe".
Would you like to retry injection?"

If I click Yes, it boings and displays again. If I select No, it starts the game for me. Any tips on how to bypass this and get the game to run OK without the CloDer.dll utility?
Thanks for any input.
