Good fun last night on TAW
« on: February 18, 2018, 10:13:37 am »
Hey, it’s good to see more of us flying together on BoX, and TAW (or wherever we decide to fly).  Last night on TAW with Wiley, Bucky, Thrud and now Wolf (we convinced him to register! :) ), we had some good fun flying as a group.  Also with Hang and Agile earlier.

Very glad to see the AKA playing a larger role in TAW, and BoX in general.  Hope to see more of you all online so we can do more group flying! :). Lots more fun than going solo.

Another fun, albeit short night of flying, as we only got a couple sorties in.  But on the second one we hit an airfield pretty hard and everyone made it home except Stubing.  Speaking of...I joined the TAW comms a little earlier and Cpt Stubing from the FS and Ghost Skies days was  on.  We flew a sortie together and hit a different airfield.  Then after talking with Wiley/Bucky and MattE I offered for Stube to come join us on our comms.  So we may see Stube drop in our TS for BoX from time to time.

Didn't make it... too sleepy.  An another note, have you gents seen "Guy Martin's Spitfire"?  Fascinating restoration of an original MK1 left on the beaches of Calais and from RAF support during the rescue of troops at Dunkirk.... and the story of the pilot who flew it.  On Netflix...
