Whats the starting point with BoX - etc ?
« on: February 22, 2018, 09:09:30 am »
S!~

Hey fellas. Time to give this a go. Where does a guy start with this? I saw some 50% off deals on B of Stalingrad and Moscow.
The premium packages have more aircraft...is it worth it? I know very little about these sims- and would like to start out on the right foot. Cliffs of Dover: Blitz and all its Team Fusion bandaids will fizzle out- or stay the same Battle of Britain fun-ness- but the future is BoX.  Hoping for some direction for my game purchases! Got my system up to snuff- now its time for a new challenge.

 Thanks guys!

With the sale on right now I would buy BoM and BoS, wait a bit and then get BoK.

I'd concur with that. I don't know that it matters whether you get BOS or BOM installed first, but I did BOS first as it came out first and treated the rest as add-ons.

I would get the premium editions, the extra aircraft are worth it especially when you fly campaigns like TAW where if you dont have all the aircraft you lose some choices in aircraft.

I should have mentioned to get the Premium Editions of both.  If you have some spare cash get the Yak-1B S127, it's not included in any other edition and is probably the best Russian fighter.

The Yak-1B is IMO the best fighter in the game, especially below 4K.

it's really nice, but often the servers leave the better planes out... really sucks when they make you fly others when you have better...
