They found a bomb at a train yard during construction... near there is a secret communication center in a cave (inside a hill)... it's really not a secret, but takes secret documents to get in...
lots of stuff is buried there to protect military sites in bunkers, hills, and mountains, and underground command centers...

It's not uncommon finding WWII UXB's given the number dropped by both sides.
Some folks even have/had live butterfly bombs on their mantles oblivious to what they are.
Some of the bigger bombs had tremendous depth penetration of the ground. and given some of the faults with detonation and priming devices, I expect we will continue to find these for some time to come.
Its sad reminder of the cost.

I remember when I saw that railyard, I could envision it being a target.. they had refineries not far either... of course those refineries may not have been there back then... there were rumors of some tunnels.. but being in a foreign country, shouldn't go looking for trouble...
