HOTAS LITENING list

Apologies if it is I haven’t seen this elsewhere, I made a HOTAS button list for the LITENING pod. Happy to keep updated as commands are added or if there are errors.

LITENING HOTAS COMMANDS

STICK
SENSOR SELECT SWITCH
Right press - right MFD SOI then Area/Point track

UNDESIGNATE:
Undesignates TDC target.

GUN TRIGGER:
Hold : Fire TGP laser designator.

THROTTLE
FOV button:
Short press - FOV Wide/Narrow
Long press - CCD / FLIR toggle

CAGE/UNCAGE button:
Short - Boresight TGP

RADAR ELEVATION WHEEL:
Up - TGP Zoom in
Down - TGP Zoom out

TDC NIPPLE:
SLEW - Slews TGP reticle.
PRESS - Designate as target.
(Adds GPS data to JDAM / slaves MAV seeker to target.)

which button to put on hotas that fires laser designator? says it is suppose to be on trigger...

The same trigger that fires your gun.  You have to box the TRIG on the FLIR page to enable that function.

IRL i think it is probably no easier to take a pod off one aircraft and put it on another. more than just mounting it. but i am sure there is a lot to it adding / upgrading the software of an aircraft. i understand that DCS is doing a lot to make this happen. it truly is amazing. i ran across this.
